We supplied Heidemark GmbH, the European market leader in turkeys based in Ahlhorn in Lower Saxony, with three JPFD spiral conveyors. Heidemark has successfully commissioned ten of these systems since 2020. The company firmly believes in the benefits the system offers for the efficient transport of their meat trays.
The JPFD systems are made entirely out of stainless steel and equipped with an FDA-approved belt, which is essential in a hygienic production environment. The integrated lubrication system ensures the conveyor requires less maintenance and extends its life cycle by reducing friction. Additionally, the spiral conveyors were delivered with an automatic belt washer for continuous and thorough cleaning, further optimising hygiene and increasing operational efficiency.
This vertical conveyor system is available with a variety of belt widths, ranging from 208 to 912 mm. For this project, the client opted for a belt width of 254 mm, which is perfect for transporting meat trays that measure 275 x 175 mm.
This solution was delivered fully assembled and ready for use. Plastic covers offer increased safety and extend the life cycle of the system.
