Over the years, the trays used in the beverage industry have gotten smaller: from 12-packs down to 10-, 6- and eventually 4-packs. This meant the Puma Curve was too large for the smooth transfer of the smallest packaging types. In light of this development, Jonge Poerink Conveyors created the Puma Compact Curve, which has since become the global standard in the modern beverage industry.
